Minister Khofifah said that to eradicate social problems in Indonesia, it cannot be entirely the responsibility of the government alone. It requires cooperation with various parties, including universities.

"For example, during a poverty alleviation program in a village, the government may only provide assistance once. Then it is the university's job to continue," explained Minister Khofifah, Monday (5/9).

For example, when conducting Community Service Lectures (KKN), in this activity a process of community empowerment occurs during the interaction process between the community and students which is expected to be sustainable.

Minister Khofifah advised the students to seek and gain as much knowledge as possible. "When they graduate, it is hoped that (students_ed) will not be confused about what to do, and are ready to compete amidst the tight competition," she explained.

He said, before becoming a minister like today, since he was a child he used to sell ice lollies. These difficulties in his childhood are what made him learn a lot, become more resilient, and always work hard so he could achieve what he aspired to. (cah/yon)
