Klojen, MC – The Malang City Government received a working visit from the East Kotawaringin Regency Government at the Palapa Room, Malang City Hall, Tuesday (6/9). This activity was attended by representatives from the Integrated Licensing Service Agency (BP2T) of Malang City, the Legal Section, the Public Relations Section of the Malang City Secretariat and a group of guests totaling approximately 15 people led by the Expert Staff for Development of East Kotawaringin Regency Drs. H. Rustam Fuadi.
Expert Staff for Development of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Dr. Supranoto, M.Kes, who delivered the speech of the Mayor of Malang, expressed his gratitude and welcome to the group of the East Kotawaringin Regency Government who had given their trust to Malang City as the destination for the working visit.
The existence of Malang City, he continued, which is the second largest city in East Java, makes Malang City a center of trade, offices and education. This not only has an impact on the high level of community mobility, but also provides an attraction for companies to promote their products.
The Malang City Government has the authority to organize advertising which includes planning, regulation, supervision, control and order policies and still pays attention to aesthetics and order by issuing Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2006 concerning the Implementation of Advertising.
In addition, there is also Malang Mayor Regulation Number 21 of 2008 concerning Strategic Points for Advertising Installation and Malang Mayor Regulation Number 22 of 2008 concerning Procedures for Advertising Permits, Installation, and Revocation.
"The Malang City Government is currently in the discussion stage to re-draft the Malang City Regional Regulation (Perda) on the arrangement and implementation of advertising which aims to provide protection to the community, provide legal certainty, maintain norms of decency and morality, maintain the beauty and sustainability of the environment and optimize the use of regional assets for the benefit of the community," explained Supranoto.
Meanwhile, the Expert Staff for Development of East Kotawaringin Regency, Drs. H. Rustam Fuadi explained that the purpose of this working visit was to see the arrangement of advertisements in the Malang City Government that could be implemented by the East Kotawaringin Regency Government.
Good advertising arrangement, he continued, while maintaining beauty and optimizing the use of regional assets is also for the benefit of the people of East Kotawaringin Regency. Therefore, it is hoped that this working visit will be useful. (say/yon)
