Starfruit, MC – Achievements should not be solely contributed by a 'one man show' or because of the performance of one or two people alone, but it must be because of the existence of a work collective formed by a good work culture.

That was what was conveyed by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji when providing a briefing and closing the Workshop on the Preparation of Regional Action Plans and Preparation of Regional Apparatus Action Plans at the Savana Hotel Malang, Wednesday (7/9).
He added that in the context of institutional arrangement, it should not be placed solely on organizational fattening but should be more on enriching functions that are able to stimulate the apparatus to innovate and be creative.
Meanwhile, Erna Irawati, S.Sos, M.Pol.Adm from the Indonesian Institute of State Administration emphasized eight areas of change in bureaucratic reform that must be considered by SKPD (Regional Work Units_ed) in the regions.
"The eight areas of change include aspects of organization, administration, legislation, human resources (HR) of the apparatus, supervision, accountability, public services and mindset. (mindset) and work culture (culture set)," explained Erna. (say/yon)
