Kedungkandang, MC – Another educational achievement has been successfully carved by SMP Negeri 10 Malang. After going through several stages of assessment, finally SMPN 10 Malang became the first winner of the 2016 National Healthy School Environment Competition (LLSS).
For this achievement, SMPN 10 Malang held a thanksgiving which also coincided with the 37th Anniversary of the school which is a UKS Tourism School. The thanksgiving was held yesterday, Wednesday (7/9) and was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji accompanied by the Assistant for General Administration of the Malang City Secretariat, Yudhi K. Ismawardi, SH, M.Hum and the Head of the Malang City Education Office Dra. Zubaidah, MM.
SMPN 10 Malang, led by Supandi, S.Pd, M.Pd, was able to become the top champion in the National Level UKS competition for junior high school level after successfully beating dozens of other contestants throughout Indonesia.
This is because SMPN 10 Malang is considered to have advantages in terms of the high active role of students in maintaining the health of the school environment. In addition, SMPN 10 has 17 infiltration wells. This achievement further establishes Malang City as a City of Education with a myriad of achievements that have been achieved.
"The activity held today is not only a form of gratitude for the achievement of winning first place in the National UKS Competition but also a celebration of 37 years of school age," explained Supandi, Wednesday (7/9).
Furthermore, Supandi said that what SMPN 10 Malang has achieved so far cannot be separated from the cooperation, coordination, communication and assistance of all parties. "Without all of that, it would be impossible for SMPN 10 Malang to achieve this achievement," he explained again.
Meanwhile, in his sermon, Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji on behalf of the Malang City Government in this case the Mayor of Malang expressed his deepest gratitude to all parties and also SMPN 10 Malang who have contributed national level achievements for Malang City.
"With this achievement, it is hoped that the equal distribution of quality and educational facilities and infrastructure in Malang City can be realized, so that the people of Malang City are not concentrated in sending their children to certain schools," said Sutiaji.
In addition to being attended directly by the Deputy Mayor of Malang and also the Head of the Malang City Education Office, this thanksgiving was also attended by the Head of the Malang City Police Community Relations Unit, AKP Wisnu S. Kuncoro, SIK, the Head of the Malang City National Narcotics Agency (BNN), impact schools or foster schools, the Head of Buring, the Head of the Kedungkandang Health Center, and other parties.
