Breadfruit, MC – To commemorate and enliven the Eid al-Adha 1437 Hijri, young people who are members of the Anak Negeri Community also share with others, especially for groups such as pedicab drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, parking attendants and the underprivileged.

As in previous years, the Community of Children of the Country also held the slaughter of sacrificial animals in the form of goats. There were seven goats slaughtered in basecamp those on Jl. West Langsep, Monday (12/9), and several goats were handed over to other places such as prayer rooms and nearby mosques.
This was conveyed by the coordinator of the Community of Children of the Nation, M. Romadhoni, to the media crew on the sidelines of the sacrificial animal slaughtering event. In addition to being purchased from their hard-earned money, the sacrificial animals were also obtained from donations from several institutions such as the Malang City DPRD, Malang City Police Headquarters, Brawijaya University, the community driver taxibike , and others.
Partnering with one of the motorcycle taxi communities , after the slaughtering of the sacrificial animals is complete, the sacrificial meat packages are then delivered around the city. The starting point is to two motorcycle taxi bases in Arjosari, then to the parking attendants and pedicab drivers at Kota Baru Station. The journey continues to Jl. Majapahit at the Bird Market and the gemstone sellers.
After that, the journey continued to the Comboran area to distribute meat to the poor and ended at the Merdeka Square of Malang City. Parking attendants, pedicab drivers and buskers were targeted in this area (square). The event was then closed with the release of doves in the middle of the square as a symbol of peace.
Romadhoni added, with an event like this will provide learning and a sense of caring for others. In 2015, he said, Anak Negeri distributed sacrificial meat only to the underprivileged. For this year, the reach was deliberately expanded so that everyone could enjoy togetherness.
"This Eid al-Adha is very meaningful for us, because we can invite other communities to share with each other. Hopefully what we do can be useful and not cause jealousy for others, because we simply want to share and have no other intentions beyond that. We sincerely, voluntarily and spontaneously do all this, and coincidentally colleagues from Go Jek can join, we are very grateful," concluded the man who is familiarly called Abah Doni. (say/yon)
