Starfruit, MC – The operation to regulate parking in order to control illegal parking attendants was intensified by the Malang City Transportation Agency team, Saturday (17/9). Collaborating with the TNI and Malang City Police, the joint operation was carried out combing Jl. Teluk, Jl. Sutan Syahrir, Jl. Kyai Tamin, Soekarno-Hatta (Suhat) area, Jl. Borobudur, Jl. A. Yani and Jl. Piranha Atas.
"We have secured two parking attendants operating in Ahmad Yani and Borobudur because they did not have identification and were parking (in places) that should be free (parking)," explained the Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency, Kusnadi, S.Sos.
As stated by the Head of the Transportation Agency, the two parking attendant suspects were taken by officers and processed at the Malang City Transportation Agency Office to be given guidance and to fill out an examination report.
Uniquely, the perpetrators were given a 'punishment' of being doused with water in the bathroom. "We give such sanctions so that they will absorb their mistakes and their minds will be clear," said Kusnadi.
Meanwhile, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton reiterated not to play around with this parking problem. "Consistency and continuous action steps must continue to be carried out. Carry out continuous supervision, not just because there are complaints, but as an integral part of the task," said the mayor who is familiarly called Abah Anton. (say/yon)
