Malang, MC – Pancanaka shooting range of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base Malang, yesterday, Monday (26/9) was officially used. The inauguration was marked by the signing of an inscription by the Air Force Chief of Staff, Marshal TNI Agus Supriatna.
The inauguration was witnessed by the Aspers Kasau, Pangkoopsau I and II, Danlanud Abd. Saleh Marsma TNI H. RM. Djoko Senoputro, SE, MM, Dandepohar 30, Danyonko 464 Paskhas, Dandenmatra II Paskhas, officials of Lanud Abd Saleh, and other invitees.
According to Danlanud Abd. Saleh Marsma TNI H. RM. Djoko Senoputro, SE, MM, the construction of this shooting range aims to improve the shooting skills of TNI AU soldiers, especially Lanud Abd. Saleh. In addition, it is also expected to be a forum for Perbakin Malang activities and the surrounding area.
For that reason, he continued, with the completion of the construction of the representative Pancanaka shooting range, it is hoped that it can be used as a means of fostering friendship between agencies as well as a place to develop skilled shooting athletes both on a national and international scale.
Marsma Djoko also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and his entourage, as well as the entire committee involved in the construction of this shooting range, especially to Hendry Soetio as the President Director of PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara who has provided assistance for the construction of the Abd Saleh Air Force Base shooting range until completion.
Separately, the Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service, Marsma TNI Jemi Trisonjaya, said that every Indonesian Air Force base should have a shooting range like the one owned by Abd. Saleh Air Force Base. "In addition to shooting sports, the Indonesian Air Force also supports various sports such as soccer, boxing, pencak silat, taekwondo and so on. This means that the Indonesian Air Force is also intense in the field of sports," he explained.
"Especially for this shooting branch, because most of the TNI AU bases already have adequate shooting ranges, it is also hoped that in the future professional shooting athletes will be born who can excel at national and international levels.
