Klojen, MC – With the theme "Real Work for the Progress of the Nation as a Form of Implementing Pancasila", the 2016 Pancasila Sanctity Day Commemoration Ceremony in Malang City was held in the yard of Malang City Hall, Saturday (1/10).
The commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day is a symbol of the efforts made by the Indonesian people in facing attempts at betrayal, rebellion and threats against the Indonesian nation.
The 2016 Pancasila Sanctity Day Commemoration Ceremony in Malang City was attended by 28 platoons or approximately 900 people consisting of the TNI, Polri, Saptol PP, Dishub, Kopri, Pamwil-Bakesbangpol, TRC-BPBD, Linmas, Tagana-Social Service, Pancasila Youth, FKPPI, Banser, High School/Vocational School Students and Scouts.
As the next generation of the nation, we must be determined to maintain the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia so that it remains strong and based on Pancasila, and continue to fill development so that it becomes a dignified nation.
The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, on this occasion acted as the ceremony inspector. In this ceremony, a pledge of determination was read to continue to maintain and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of strength to build togetherness to fight for, uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
The sacredness of Pancasila was proven since the Proclamation of Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945, when at that time there was a lot of subversion, both from within the country and abroad, against the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
This undermining is possible due to the negligence and lack of vigilance of the Indonesian nation towards movements that seek to overthrow Pancasila as the state ideology.
With the spirit of togetherness based on the noble values of the Pancasila ideology, in the end the Indonesian nation can still strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
