Klojen, MC – The 2016 Tax Awareness Healthy Walk held by the Malang City Regional Revenue Service (Dispenda) again received an enthusiastic welcome from the people of Malang City. The healthy walk centered on the Tugu Square in front of Malang City Hall was attended by tens of thousands of participants, Sunday (16/10).
The excitement was seen when the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Drs. Sutiaji, announced the winners of the main prizes in the form of two cars which were finally taken home by Nurhadi Busono and Sri Mulyati, both of whom are residents of Bareng Village, Klojen District, Malang City.
The annual agenda of the Malang City Revenue Service became even more lively when the Deputy Mayor contributed a song accompanied by singers from the Om Monata music group.
Deputy Mayor Sutiaji said that the enthusiasm of the community who participated in the 2016 Tax Awareness Healthy Walk was very good. According to him, this proves that public awareness to pay taxes is increasing.
"The many innovations made by Dispenda to make it easier for the public to pay taxes are a good breakthrough. In the future, it must be improved again," he hoped, Sunday (16/10).
The existence of free school buses, free schools, and free administration of various population administrations are also part of the success of tax payments. That is why the Deputy Mayor of Malang invited the people of Malang City to be more obedient in paying taxes because the benefits will also return to the community itself.
Budi Santoso, one of the participants of the healthy walk, said he was happy to participate in the 2016 Tax Awareness Healthy Walk event held by the Malang City Revenue Service. He said that with an activity like this, it could be a place refreshing with family in the midst of a busy work routine.
