Beautiful Malang Run was deliberately held to provide a new atmosphere for the participants, considering that KONI usually holds marathons. With this different nuance, it turned out to get an extraordinary response from the participants. Although this agenda was only implemented for the first time, seeing the extraordinary enthusiasm of the participants, this activity is planned to be held every year.
That was what was conveyed by the event's chief executive, Eddy Wahono on the sidelines of the event. According to him, this activity is also expected to net quality young runners, especially from students. "We are making registration free for students and providing 1.000 medals to attract and motivate participants," he explained.
Eddy added that these 1.000 medals were intended for runners who... finish first and to give encouragement to the runners even though this activity is a fun run. "The prospective running athletes from among students who will be filtered by KONI will receive special training and will be included in various event big," he added.
On the other hand, he said, this is an event to continue to improve stamina (of Malang City's running athletes) so that they can maintain the various achievements achieved so far. "Just like when runners from abroad participate, it will also be a motivation for national runners in Malang City.
