Mayor of Malang Inaugurates Our Food House

Klojen, MC – Maintaining and supporting food availability so that people do not need to worry about shortages of basic necessities, in Malang City, the Our Food House (RPK) has been launched by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton at the Rampal Field, Malang, Sunday (23/10).

The Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, revealed that RPK is a form of government's role in an effort to contribute to the welfare of the people. 'Thank you Bulog for contributing to RPK. Food is our absolute and basic need," he said, Sunday (23/10).

Head of Bulog Regional Sub Division (Divre) Malang, Arsyad confirmed that currently his party supplies basic necessities, especially rice and cooking oil at affordable prices. "In the future, the plan is that in every RW there will be outlet-"So that it makes it easier for people to get goods (basic necessities_ed)," said Arsyad.

The RPK that is currently being launched has three important pillars, namely food availability in Malang, people can access cheap basic necessities, and price continuity and stability can be affordable. "Please for people who want to become RPK outlets or agents, Bulog opens up opportunities as widely as possible," said Arsyad.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Agriculture Service, Ir. Hadi Santoso, welcomed the opening of the RPK. The RPK program is clearly very helpful and beneficial to the community, because the value of goods sold at RPK outlets is cheaper than in other places.

"We work with Bulog to procure basic necessities. By getting direct supplies from Bulog, I am sure the prices at RPK outlets are definitely cheaper," explained Soni, the nickname of Ir. Hadi Santoso. (cah/yon)
