Muhammadiyah citizens should not just be spectators in this advanced era with its various technologies. Active roles and positive thinking contributions for this nation are greatly needed from various groups, especially from Muhammadiyah. We should not always look back, but look at what is in front of us, and do something concrete for the welfare of the people.

At least that is what was conveyed by the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Management (PDM) of Malang City, Abdul Haris in the Tabligh Akbar event held at the Siti Khotijah Mosque, Jl. Arjuno, Sunday (30/10). In this event, no less than 3.000 Muhammadiyah members crowded the event location since morning.

Abdul Haris also gave a message about the demoralization that is currently hitting this country and has not been resolved from time to time, namely regarding various crimes, such as drugs and free sex. According to him, all parties must be able to anticipate and prevent all of that, especially for our children and grandchildren not to get caught in the dark valley.

"With those negative behaviors, let us make them as a trigger to continue to strengthen our faith in Allah SWT, and increase our worship. With strong faith, God willing, we will not be dragged into that dark circle, and can become strong people in facing various trials," explained Haris. (say/yon)
