Anton inaugurated a tourist attraction and herbal house named Warung Infaq 'Mother and Little Man' Baznas (National Zakat Collection Agency) of Malang City, located on Jl. KH Malik Dalam RT 4/7 Baran, Buring Village, Kedungkandang District, Saturday (19/11).
As conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton by the residents of Malang City, the essence of this activity is a form of worship to Allah SWT by providing land for medicinal plants that are already known to the community for their various properties and benefits.
It is a very innovative breakthrough by combining the concept of herbal medicine cultivation with educational tourism. "In addition, it has another positive side, namely producing cheap herbal medicine, friendly to public health problems," said the friendly man.
He added, with the existence of herbal plant processing locations as herbal houses, it is hoped that the economic level of the surrounding community will also increase. In addition, herbal medicine is also relatively cheap so that people can use it directly, and it is friendly because the use of this herbal medicine is relatively far from chemical elements and has no side effects.
"In addition, this development is also expected to create a balance in the ecosystem, because the environment becomes beautiful, green and comfortable, so that from healthy families, family welfare will be built independently in addition to fostering a tourism climate that is currently being developed by the Malang City Government," added Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, the Head of Basnaz Malang City, Fauzan Zenrif, hopes that the construction of this herbal tourism and house can be used for herbal production and the results will later be distributed free of charge to all elderly foster children of Basnaz Malang City.
Furthermore, Fauzan also explained that the initial capital owned by Basnaz Malang City was more than one billion rupiah, and currently Basnaz has managed capital of 6,5 billion rupiah.
