Abah Anton Hopes Malang Will Become National Boxing Barometer Again

Klojen, MC – Malang City's proud boxer, Hero Tito, will be having his international match in Timor-Leste against Thai boxer Tongchai Kunram. Hero will be fighting for the belt World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) and Xanana Belt 2016 in the match which will be held on November 27, 2016.

In an official letter addressed to the East Timorese boxing promoter, Joe Maria Pereira to the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton and the founder of the boxing gym D'Cross Boxing Camp, Ade Herawanto, the promoter asked Hero Tito to fight a Thai boxer in a match held to commemorate Timor-Leste's Independence Day.

Responding to this, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton, admitted that he greatly appreciated the invitation from the international promoter. According to him, it shows that boxers from Malang City are currently famous in the international arena.

In fact, the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton hopes that Hero Tito can make Indonesia's name, especially Malang City, famous in the match and bring home the world champion belt. "We also want Malang to return to being a barometer for national boxing like a few years ago," hoped Abah Anton, Wednesday (23/11).

Separately, the founder of the gym D'Cross BC, Ade Herawanto said that his party had given a message to his mainstay boxer to be able to perform optimally in the prestigious match. "Of course we from the gym D'Cross BC "Hopefully Hero Tito can come home with victory," said Ade.
