Jakarta, MC – Head of the Malang City PKK Team, Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani received the Pakarti Utama I Award in the 2016 City Category in the 2016 National Family Medicinal Plant Utilization (Toga) Competition at the Mercure Ancol Hotel, Wednesday (30/11).
In addition, the Malang City PKK TP also won First Place in the Regional Creativity Performance Competition at the 2016 PKK Cadre National Jamboree. The award was presented directly by the Chairperson of the Central PKK TP, Erni Guntarti Tjahjo Kumolo.
According to Erni Guntarti, the purpose of holding this jamboree is to foster and strengthen the sense of unity and togetherness between PKK cadres and their mentors, a forum for exchanging information, knowledge and skills, and to give respect to PKK cadres who have been active. Erni hopes that this jamboree can motivate and ignite the spirit of PKK cadres in achieving PKK goals and programs.
Meanwhile, Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo said that this jamboree must be held routinely. "This jamboree is part of communication and synergy between PKK activists to keep it going," said Minister Tjahjo.
Chairwoman of TP PKK Malang City Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani after receiving the award said that the success of TP PKK Malang City's achievements is a motivation and inspiration for residents.
"This success was achieved thanks to the hard and smart work of the cadres. Everything achieved by these cadres is part of motivating and inspiring the districts/cities so that all these activities take place sustainably," said the woman who is familiarly called Umi Farida. (say/yon)
