(rightsizing) based on the workload that is appropriate to the real conditions in each region.
"This is also in line with the principle of rational, proportional, effective, efficient and appropriate regional apparatus organization according to the real needs and capabilities of each region, while at the same time there is a network of coordination, integration, synchronization and simplification as well as institutional communication between the center and the regions," added Supriyadi.
Meanwhile, Head of Government Section of Malang City Secretariat Drs. Alie Mulyanto, MM said that this activity was intended to find out the steps that must be implemented by the Malang City Government in implementing Law No. 23 of 2014.
"Moreover, after the enactment of Law No. 23 of 2014, which is the third amendment after Law No. 32 of 2004 and Law No. 12 of 2008 concerning regional government, there needs to be an adjustment to the implementing regulations, which in this case are government regulations;
"Until now, there is still one PP as one of the technical instructions in implementing Law No. 23 of 2014. Meanwhile, there are still many matters and things in this Law that need derivative PPs, and automatically the old PP as the implementing regulation of Law No. 12 of 2008 is also no longer relevant," said Alie.
Therefore, he said, paying attention to the existing dynamics and anticipatory steps in waiting for other PP continuations, intensive communication and coordination with the central government is needed. "That is why this coordination meeting is very strategic as one of the materials to convey regional dynamics to the provincial government and the central government," concluded Alie. (say/yon)
