Improving Public Service Quality, BP2D Explores Cooperation with Post Office

Klojen, MC – The Malang City Regional Tax Service Agency (BP2D) has taken swift action at the beginning of 2017. In addition to scheduling launching The Tax Payable Notification Letter (SPPT) for Land and Building Tax (PBB) and Sunset Policy Volume II on January 18, 2017, is another innovative step that is currently being prepared by the Regional Work Unit (SKPD) which was previously known as the Regional Revenue Service (Dispenda) of Malang City.

Currently, the BP2D of Malang City is exploring cooperation with the Malang Post Office in an effort to optimize services to the community. Through this cooperation, various forms of BP2D services can be accommodated by the Post Office. For example, related to the distribution of administrative correspondence, submission of SPPT PBB to Taxpayers (WP) to PBB payments at the nearest Post Office branch.

According to the Head of BP2D Malang City, Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT, this discourse emerged as an effort to shorten the span of control of services to the community. Currently, the Post Office has around 50 branches and hundreds of agents throughout the Malang Raya area. 

"Later the service process will be faster, easier and cheaper. On the other hand, the public will also get convenience in service," said the man who is familiarly called Sam Ade d'Kross, Monday (09/01)

Like a match made in heaven, the Post Office also admitted that it was ready to establish cooperation to help the effective performance of BP2D, which now has five Technical Implementation Units (UPT) in five sub-districts in Malang City.

"In principle, we are ready to accommodate BP2D programs that can be synergized with the Post Office's service products," said the Head of the Malang Post Office, Dadang Budi Ganjaran accompanied by Facilities Manager Syamsudin and Sales Manager Anna Maria Ulfa during a discussion at the BP2D Office of Malang City.

In fact, the Malang Post Office also plans to launch a special edition of Your Identity Stamp (PRISMA) for the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, together with launching SPPT PBB and Sunset Policy Volume II next week. Abah Anton's photo (the nickname of the Mayor of Malang_ed) will adorn the special edition stamp that can be owned by the general public. 

Meanwhile, in a separate place, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton expressed his appreciation for BP2D's quick steps in various efforts to improve the quality of public services in its SKPD.

"Improving public services in the field of regional taxes is one of the services to the community that we should pay attention to. BP2D Malang City has shown its hard work to provide the best service to the citizens of Malang City, one of which is by collaborating with the Malang Post Office," said Abah Anton. (say/yon)
