Lowokwaru, MC – In early 2017, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, again held a social gathering agenda in Dinoyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, Sunday (15/1). Accompanied by the Chairperson of TP PKK, Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani and the Head of the Regional Work Unit (SKPD) in the Malang City Government, the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton came down to see the condition of his community firsthand.

Starting from the area of Jl. Sunan Muria (behind the UIN Malang campus), the Malang City Government team moved along Jl. MT Haryono and finish at the Dinoyo Ceramics center.
In this blusukan, Abah Anton visited several uninhabitable houses and will be proposed for house renovation. To his residents, the PKB politician advised them to continue to develop innovation and creativity, especially those in the Dinoyo ceramic center area.
The number one person in the Malang City Government gave examples of the success of Kampung Warna Warni and Kampung Tridi which are the results of innovation from the community, so it is hoped that the ceramic center in this area can also be known internationally. "I see the village as having the potential to increase the economic power of Malang City," he said while talking to residents.
It was also said that togetherness between the community and the government is needed to overcome existing problems. Therefore, it requires a change in the mindset of the community so that all programs can run well and of course it is good and beneficial for the community. "This sense of connection is a form of government effort in building a better Malang City," he continued.
Abah Anton also advised the residents to make good use of the free school program, because with good education it will be able to produce a good next generation of the nation. "I ask the community to make good use of this free school, because Malang City is also included as a City of Education," said Abah Anton.
The Malang City Government in educating the nation's children is currently also encouraging raids on truant children so that they can become good students. "Education is one of the foundations of life, so it must be of high quality," concluded Abah Anton. (say/yon)
