Klojen, MC – The Malang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) again conducted an operation against students who skipped school, Tuesday (17/1). As a result, seven teenagers consisting of students and street children were successfully raided. Most of the students who were caught in the raid while skipping school were at internet cafes (warnet) and other hangouts.

In fact, from the results of the search conducted by Satpol PP members, there were students who were found to be storing pornographic videos on their cellphones. Head of Public Order and Security Division of Satpol PP Malang City Drs. R. Dandung Djulharjanto, MT said that his party will continue to conduct raids on students twice a week to resolve the phenomenon of students skipping school which has been a concern for teachers and parents of students.
The results of the sweep conducted by the Malang City Satpol PP team were also based on reports from residents who were starting to get restless with the behavior of students who skipped school. "In the future, we will continue to do it, because this helps the government so that these students can study in an orderly manner," said Dandung.
This kind of anticipation by the Malang City Government is very important to do, because it is feared that students who are skipping school could meet with irresponsible parties such as drug dealers and other negative things.
"What if they skip school and then meet with drug dealers, for example, this is dangerous. Therefore, Satpol PP also asked for help from the public to provide information on locations that are usually used as places for students to skip school," he added. (say/yon)
