Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Regional Assembly of the HMI Alumni Corps (KAHMI) Malang held a discussion with the theme 'Reviewing the direction of the Malang City APBD (Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget) for the 2017 Fiscal Year' at Kopilogi Cafe, Jl. Besar Ijen No. 94 Malang, Thursday (19/1).

Present as speakers were Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji accompanied by Member of the Malang City DPRD Ya'qud Ananda Gudban, M. Ali Safaat (Presidium of KAHMI MD Malang City), Lutfi Kurniawan (anti-corruption activist of Malang City), and Ahmad Imron Rozuli (academic of FISIP UB).
In his presentation, Deputy Mayor Sutiaji said that development in Malang City refers to the 2013-2018 Malang City mission which is outlined in the 2013-2018 Malang City Development Program, namely creating a prosperous, cultured and educated society based on religious, tolerant and equal spiritual values.
"In addition, to improve the quality of public services that are fair, measurable and accountable, develop regional potential that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, fair and economical and improve the quality of education for the people of Malang City," he added.
Thus, he continued. we can compete in the global era and improve the quality of health of the people of Malang City, both physically and mentally to become a productive society, to build Malang City as a safe, comfortable, and cultured tourist destination.
On the other hand, to encourage informal sector economic actors and SMEs to be more productive and competitive. "We also want to encourage the productivity of large-scale industries and economies that are competitive, ethical and environmentally friendly, as well as develop an integrated transportation system and comfortable infrastructure to improve the quality of life of the community," explained Sutiaji.
In this discussion, Sutiaji also appealed to KAHMI members to continue to monitor the APBD and development in Malang City in order to realize Malang as a Dignified City. (say/yon)
