Malang City Education Office Achieves National Level Achievements

Jakarta - The Malang City Education Office (Disdik) has again achieved a national level achievement. The Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) awarded the Malang City Education Office as the best education manager in the region.

The award was given at the National Consultation event attended by the Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.AP and all heads of education departments at the city and provincial levels throughout Indonesia in Jakarta, Wednesday (25/1) evening.

Head of the Malang City Education Office Dra. Zubaidah, MM who received the award directly expressed her deepest gratitude for the performance of education personnel in Malang City.

Zubaidah said that the achievement would not have been possible without the cooperation of all education personnel in Malang City. "It turns out that the performance of education personnel in Malang City has been observed, scrutinized and assessed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Whereas previously there was no notification, no assessment event or event. Suddenly an award was given. This is truly a source of pride for all of us," she said.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Malang City Government under the leadership of the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, who gave priority to the education sector, as well as the legislative ranks who also always gave support for the progress and improvement of the quality of education.

Zubaidah explained that the achievements received from the Ministry of Education and Culture were inseparable from several programs that had been implemented well so far.

Some of them are free schools, consistency in forming Adiwiyata schools, creating a healthy school environment through UKS activities and innovative breakthroughs. Green School Festival (GSF). These programs have had a positive impact on the world of education.

Not only that, to improve the quality of educators and organize school administration, the Malang City Education Office also held a competition for the performance of school principals, transparency in the management of Bosda and Bosnas funds by educational institutions, and improving the quality of educators and education personnel through various trainings.

The concentration of the Malang City Government in ensuring the continuity of education for all its citizens through various assistance programs for facilities and infrastructure for both public and private schools and also for students at various levels of education is an assessment factor that is used as a reference by the Ministry of Education and Culture in giving awards for the best education management category in the region.

"By giving the award for the best education management category in the region by the Ministry of Education and Culture, hopefully it will further spur the spirit and spur the motivation of the education personnel of Malang City to be even better in providing educational services to the community," concluded Zubaidah.

Separately, Malang Mayor H. Moch Anton admitted that he was quite proud of the achievements of the Malang City Education Office. According to Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is often called, various efforts to advance the world of education are inseparable from the image of Malang City itself which is already known to the public as the City of Education. "The free school program is an example of the government's commitment to the world of education," said Abah Anton.

The number one person in the Malang City Government hopes that the Malang City Education Office will continue to make various innovations so that the achievements that have been achieved can be improved.
