Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – 'Accountants Share' was the main headline in yesterday's morning activity, Friday (3/2) in Kampung Desaku Menanti. The activity initiated by the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI) Malang Raya Commissariat was attended and opened by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji accompanied by the Head of IAI East Java Region Prof. Tjiptohadi Sawarjuwono, Ph.D, Head of the Bank Indonesia Malang Representative Office, and Head of the Malang City Social Service.
In his speech, Sutiaji said that activities like this must continue to be carried out by involving various communities. "This is solely to improve the welfare of the residents in Kampung Desaku Menanti. The residents here (Kampung Desaku Menanti_ed) not only need capital to work and do business, but more than that they need assistance to continue working and improving their economic level," explained Sutiaji.
Gratitude was also expressed to the IAI Malang Raya Commissariat for its attention and participation in helping to make the government's program to eradicate poverty a success.
"In the future, I will also invite Baznas and Rumah Zakat to help the community in Kampung Desaku Menanti. We must continue to do this so that they do not return to their old professions," added Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, the Head of the IAI Malang Raya Commissariat, Puji Handayati said that this activity is a real manifestation of IAI's devotion to the community. "The devotion will continue to be carried out on 36 families as residents of Kampung Desaku Menanti until they can live independently and their work can be accepted by the community and be competitive," said Puji.
"Each KK will be accompanied by one companion from the young members of the Malang Raya IAI Commissariat, so it is hoped that it will be more intensive and become their consultant," he said again.
"We will also take consumption from their products to be utilized in every activity of the IAI Malang Raya Commissariat," added Puji. (say/yon)
