Information From The Public Is Very Important For Infrastructure Improvement

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The increasing number of potholes in the Malang City area due to high rainfall intensity has received special attention from the Malang City Government through the Malang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (DPUPR).

Head of DPUPR Malang City Ir. Hadi Santoso expressed his gratitude for the many inputs and complaints from the public including those via social media by sending photos and locations of roads that need handling.

"Our personnel are very limited. We thank the community and invite them to work together to improve and build Malang City. This includes fixing potholes," explained Soni, the nickname of Ir. Hadi Santoso, Monday (6/2).

Soni said, in accordance with its function, the Malang City PUPR continues to boost infrastructure improvement programs, improving spatial planning in Malang City which is structured including water drainage and damaged roads.

Monitoring of damaged roads is also continuously carried out by DPUPR. Not only by going directly to the field, but also based on input and complaints received through social media. The hope is that in this way the handling of damaged roads can be resolved more quickly.

"If the road is good, road users will certainly be comfortable and safe. We hope that the community will continue to increase their role in being able to contribute to helping DPUPR handle damaged roads," said Soni.
