Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch Anton attended the Istigasah event of the Ta'lim Assembly and Dhikr of the Dalu Tribe in Tanjungrejo Village, RT 09/RW 09, Sukun District, Malang City, Saturday (11/2).
Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called, invited the community to work together to make various government programs a success, one of which is policies in the world of education.
According to Abah Anton, education for children who are the next generation of the nation needs to be developed, so that the development of human resource quality as well as mental and character development can run well.
"So I really support the efforts of the community who want to build places for religious education and religious activities such as this dhikr assembly," he said.
In addition, Abah Anton also asked for public support for the construction of the Islamic Center of Malang City, because this program is very good for the development of Islamic education in Malang City. "In addition, we will also build a monorail to reduce congestion," said Abah Anton.
Abah Anton also advised the hundreds of worshipers who attended that night to jointly guard Malang City so that conduciveness can be maintained. "The Malang City Government greatly appreciates activities such as this assembly because there is an element of mental education in it," he explained.
The Head of the Dalu Tribe Dhikr Council, Zaini, said that this council carries out various socio-religious activities, such as providing assistance to orphans and assistance for the Eid al-Adha moment. "Our desire and hope for the future is to build a TPA (Al-Quran Education Park) so that it is useful for the community," said Zaini.
Meanwhile, the Dhikr Assembly Supervisor, Syaifuddin, expressed his gratitude to Abah Anton for being able to attend and perform dhikr with the residents. "Hopefully Abah Anton's arrival will bring benefits and blessings. Because in the dhikr assembly if there are elements of ulama' and umara, it can bring togetherness for all," said Syaifuddin.
He also hopes that all programs in the dhikr assembly can bring benefits to the surrounding community, especially through social activities that have been carried out so far. (say/yon)
