Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) of Malang City held an Extraordinary Congress (KLB) in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall, Sunday (12/2) in order to elect the chairman, deputy chairman, and members of the executive committee.

The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, who was also present and opened the event, said in his speech that reforms have been carried out by the Central PSSI in order to make changes and reconciliation as an effort to realize better world football governance, so as to bring the good name of Indonesia to the international arena.
The man who is familiarly called Abah Anton also expressed his hope that the spirit of reform from the Central PSSI would be able to motivate and be implemented by the Malang City PSSI. "All of this aims to advance football in Malang City," he added.
Abah Anton also advised that the Chairman of the Malang City PSSI Association who will be elected will be able to continue to strengthen and improve the togetherness and solidarity that has been well established so far. "There is no such thing as winning or losing, but it is emphasized that all efforts that have been made are solely for the sake of advancing the Malang City PSSI," Abah explained again.
Meanwhile, the results of the trial and election of the Chairman of the Malang City PSSI Association, Haris Tofly was officially elected as the Chairman of the Malang City PSSI Association for the 2016-2021 period. Haris received the support of 29 votes, while the elected deputy chairman was M. Zamronie with 28 votes, beating Zulkifli who received 18 votes. Meanwhile, the five people elected as Exco were Fahrizal Amiq, Iwan Sukoco, Supriyadi, Achmad Junaidi and Herwintono. (say/yon)
