Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Still in the context of beautifying Malang City, the Malang City Government through the Malang City Housing and Settlement Area Service (DPKP) under the leadership of Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT is again raising funds. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by collaborating with the Merdeka Malang College Foundation to revitalize the Dieng Canal Park.
Presentation of the Dieng Canal Park design and signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Malang City Government and the Malang Merdeka College Foundation was carried out yesterday, Thursday (16/2) in the Malang Mayor's Meeting Room.
Present at this event were the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton accompanied by the Assistant for Economic Affairs of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Ir. Budi Herwanto, MT and the Head of the Malang City DPKP Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT and the Chairman of the Merdeka Malang College Foundation, Toegino Soekarno.
In his remarks, the Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, expressed his gratitude to the Merdeka Malang Higher Education Foundation which has played an active role in developing the City of Malang through the revitalization of the Dieng Terusan Park.
"I hope that in the future this park (Terusan Dieng) will also be equipped with various facilities and infrastructure to meet the needs of the surrounding community, such as toilets," said Abah Anton.
Abah Anton also advised that the park as a place for community interaction also be equipped with various facilities that support Malang City as a Child-Friendly City (KLA). "This is important to think about from the start so that the existence of the interactive park can provide a sense of comfort for the surrounding community," said Abah Anton. (say/yon)
