Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Good news came to the couple Mastofa and Masulah who live in Gang 12A, Gadang Village, Sukun District, Malang City. They did not expect that when the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton and his staff carried out an impromptu visit to Gadang Village, Sunday (26/2) they would be informed that their house would undergo a house renovation.

As if they still couldn't believe the presence of the Mayor of Malang who gave them the good news, Mastofa and Masulah were stunned for a few moments.
Occupying a relatively narrow house, made of rotten planks, and with only one bedroom, Mastofa and his wife live with their three daughters and two sons.
Mastofa admitted that he was at a loss for words when the Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton by the residents of Malang City, came with his entourage to his house. With this house renovation program, Mastofa and his wife felt very happy because the house they had lived in so far was indeed fragile.
"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to hear directly from the mayor that my house will be renovated. This is a blessing for us," said Mastofa, Sunday (26/2).
He said that his first child is now in the 10th grade of vocational school, the second is in junior high school, the third child is still in the 4th grade of elementary school, the fourth child is also still in the 4th grade of elementary school, and their fifth child is still three years old.
"I've been working in a workshop. It's not easy to support five children, let alone fix the house. Our focus is more on how to get the children to go to school well," said Mastofa.
Seeing the condition of Mastofa's house, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton said that Mastofa's residence was indeed worthy of a house renovation. "I have ordered my staff to immediately renovate Mustofa's house. The technical implementation is currently being refined. What is clear is that in the near future Mustofa's house will be renovated," said Abah Anton. (cah/yon)
