Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, Head of the Malang City Social Service Dra. Sri Wahyuningtyas, M.Si, representatives from the East Java Provincial Social Service, Malang City Education Service, Bulog to the SLRT and PKH Teams of Malang City were present at the event. On that occasion, Deputy Mayor Sutiaji appreciated the system from the Ministry of Social Affairs because it could resolve various public complaints.

It was also explained that services to social assistance recipients must be further improved in various ways, one of which is by optimizing existing SOPs. "In addition, there must be a shared understanding regarding the meaning of service, so that this becomes a shared starting point," said Sutiaji.

Not only that, Sutiaji also appealed for data collection on the underprivileged community to be more optimal. Because the criteria for being underprivileged can change according to the conditions of the community.

"It could be that currently there are people in the capable category, but because they are laid off (Termination of Employment_ed), they could change into poor people. So this data collection is important," added the bespectacled man.

SLRT itself is a service system that can help identify the needs of poor and vulnerable communities based on profiles in the Beneficiary List and connect them with various social protection and poverty alleviation programs.

The SLRT program was born to improve the quality of social protection services, especially for the distribution of Poor Rice (Raskin). The public can complain to the government regarding services through the channel website or SMS, so that there is identification of public complaints, and the government can have references and monitor their handling.

At the city/district government level, SLRT is coordinated and implemented by the Poverty Alleviation Coordination Team (TKPK).

Meanwhile, the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Social Workers and Community Social Workers, Directorate of Social Empowerment of Individuals, Families, and Community Institutions, Directorate General of Social Empowerment, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Afrizon Tanjung, hopes that the SOP for handling complaints from recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) can be a guide for SLRT organizers and managers of social protection programs.

"Especially in handling complaints and ensuring that complaints related to PKH are handled appropriately and quickly. Thus, the community will receive optimal service," explained Afrizon. (say/yon)
