Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to increase the acceleration of the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) through the exploration of technological innovation and IPTEK resources, the Malang City Planning, Research and Development Agency (Barenlitbang) is again holding Malang City Technology Innovation Competition 2017.
A total prize of 60 million rupiah has been prepared for the winners. The series of competitions starts from March 11-April 11 for the registration process, March 11-April 15, 2017 for the judging process, the announcement on May 18, 2017, and ends with the Apeksi event exhibition on July 10, 2017, and the awarding of Malang City Technology Innovation on August 10, 2017 which coincides with the commemoration of National Technology Awakening Day (Hakteknas).
The intended technological innovation is a development and/or engineering process aimed at developing practical applications, values and contexts of new science, new ways or methods to apply science and technology in order to fulfill needs, continuity and improve the quality of human life. Technological innovation can be in the form of research, development, demonstration and dissemination that leads to the development of science and technology.
Head of Barenlitbang Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH said, registration for this competition is free of charge. The Inotek Competition is divided into four fields, namely Agribusiness, Environment, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Energy. While the participants of the competition are individuals/groups/teams.
"This competition is intended for all citizens of Malang City and the innovations being competed have never won a championship in any competition. Malang City residents who wish to participate in the Malang City Technology Innovation Competition for the 2017 Fiscal Year can register online by filling out the form provided and further information at http://inotek.malangkota.go.id," explained Wasto.
The innovators selected as winners will be included in the East Java Provincial Inotek Competition and also the national event.
