In the working meeting involving KIM throughout the Bakorwil Malang Working Area, various suggestions and input were submitted by participants to improve the role of KIM.
Head of Social Communications, Communication Network Division, East Java Provincial Communication and Information Service Carlina Hani Clever, SH, MM revealed that the monitoring and evaluation at Bakorwil Malang was a series of preparations for the 2017th East Java KIM Week in 2017. He said that the XNUMXth East Java KIM Week in XNUMX will be held in Pasuruan Regency in September.

KIM Week is also expected to be a forum to explore the various potentials that exist in KIM, so that in the future the existence of KIM can be more real to advance society.
He added that the purpose of KIM Week is for learning and introducing information technology to the community, as well as improving the quality of human resources of KIM members. Also as a means of disseminating information about development results, both by agencies, bodies, services, BUMN-BUMD, and others.
In addition, KIM Week is specifically held to improve public knowledge and skills through the availability of the latest information, to inspire and excite the public in efforts to improve the economy, to become information agents in all lines of business based on information technology.
Activities that will be held at the 9th East Java KIM Week include the Grand Final of the Communicative Smart Competition (LCCK), an exhibition of superior KIM and UMKM products, the Pertura Festival, Smart Chat (Ngopi) with Pakde Karwo, discussions, blog competitions, and so on.
Previously, KIM Week was held in Mojokerto City, Jember Regency, Lamongan Regency, Malang City, Probolinggo City, Tulungagung Regency, Sumenep Regency, Nganjuk Regency. (cah/yon)
