Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia is conducting guidance regarding the accreditation process of the Community Health Center in Malang City. This health center accreditation is to support the National Health Insurance (JKN) program initiated by the government to provide optimal services to the community.

In Malang City, there are currently 16 health centers, 12 of which are still unaccredited, and four health centers (Dinoyo, Bareng, Janti, and Pandanwangi Health Centers) are already accredited. The Indonesian Ministry of Health is targeting that by 2019 all health centers will be accredited. Meanwhile, in Malang City, all health centers are expected to be accredited by 2017.
Those are some of the things conveyed by the Head of Referral Health Services Section of Health Services of the Malang City Health Office, drg. Tri Wahyu Hidayat, Friday (24/03). He added that since now, 11 health centers in Malang City have started to improve towards the accreditation.
With the guidance from the Ministry of Health, Tri continued, it is expected to provide positive input to the health centers in Malang City. "Starting from administrative management, services, and work patterns will be assisted by the Ministry of Health so that this accreditation runs optimally," he said.
The bespectacled man further said that the accreditation of this health center is tiered, starting from the basic, intermediate, main and full levels. All will be processed, although all health centers in Malang City are targeting to achieve full accreditation later.
"After the process and determination of this accreditation, the Malang City Health Office together with the Indonesian Ministry of Health will provide assistance and monitoring so that the health center services remain good," he explained. (say/yon)
