Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) Health Malang opens fast services in several malls in Malang Raya. Currently, the service is available at Malang Town Square (Matos) and Lippo Mall in Batu City. The BPJS Health membership service does not take long, in just a matter of minutes, residents can become BPJS Health members.

During the opening, Saturday (1/4), Head of BPJS Kesehatan Malang Branch, Hendry Wahyuni revealed that with this kind of outreach service, it is hoped that it can facilitate residents who want to become BPJS Kesehatan participants. In addition, residents who want to know about BPJS Kesehatan can also visit the booth that has been provided.
This program, explained the veiled woman, is to address the level of busyness of society which has recently become increasingly high, so that residents tend to ignore what are the basic needs in their lives. "Along with the JKN program launched by the government, every Indonesian citizen is required to become a BPJS Kesehatan participant," said Wahyuni.
Through this program, BPJS Kesehatan also socializes how important it is to be a member. Because when sick, residents cannot take care of and or be-cover medical expenses.
"In addition to being busy and not having time, currently most residents are also reluctant or not yet aware of the importance of becoming BPJS Kesehatan participants. Therefore, it is appealed to all residents to immediately register themselves so that when they are sick they do not need to be confused about medical costs," Wahyuni appealed.
Until now, BPJS Kesehatan participants in Malang City, Batu City and Malang Regency number around 1,8 million people. Meanwhile, residents who have not registered independently are estimated to reach 126 thousand people. "Through this outreach program, it is hoped that this number can be reduced, and the JKN program from the government can be realized optimally," concluded Wahyuni. (say/yon)
