Together with the Indonesian Minister of Communication and Information, also present were the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Eko Putro Sanjoyo.
The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton after receiving the award received by the City of Malang, namely in the field of City Planning, expressed his appreciation and said that this award was the result of 'do' with all the elements in Malang City.
"The current change in the face (layout) of Malang City, which is reflected in the increasingly beautiful park layout, the emergence of thematic villages, and the increasingly public-friendly pedestrian layout, was realized through collaboration between the (Malang) City Government, city council, academics, entrepreneurs, and all elements of the city's residents," explained Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called by his residents.
Some points that put Malang City can win the award in the field of city planning are the presence of Kampung Warna Warni, Kampung Glintung Go Green, Kampung Tridi, Kampung Putih, and also the city parks that have been revitalized. (say/yon)
