Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received a working visit from the Interfaith Communication Forum (FKUB) of Lamongan Regency, Thursday (13/4). Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji received the working visit directly in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall.
The FKUB Lamongan Regency delegation was led by KH. Masnur Arif. The purpose of this working visit was to learn about the mechanism of relations between FKUB and the local government in Malang City, especially in the administrative process of using funds.
"The purpose and goal of our visit to Malang City is to learn and deepen what FKUB Malang City implements regarding grant funds," explained KH. Masnur.
In addition to exchanging information, the FKUB of Lamongan Regency also asked for a solution to the community conflict regarding the problem of interfaith cemetery complexes which is currently being widely discussed.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Drs. Sutiaji, welcomed the working visit and welcomed the entire FKUB Lamongan Regency group.
Deputy Mayor Sutiaji also expressed his gratitude because the FKUB of Lamongan Regency was willing to make a return visit to Malang City after the Malang City Government visited Lamongan several months ago.
"Hopefully this good relationship and cooperation will continue to run well so that it will have an impact on the welfare of the people. In the future, all FKUBs must always synergize to overcome various problems, especially those related to harmony between religious communities," concluded Sutiaji. (say/yon)
