In his speech, the Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, said that the provision of free birth certificates and school supplies to 300 orphanage children was a positive thing. "For that, I would like to express my gratitude to the donors of Pondok Kasih Surabaya who have provided this learning aid," said Abah Anton.
Abah Anton hopes that by distributing this assistance, it will not only motivate and encourage children to study harder so they can achieve, but it can also build sensitivity, solidarity, concern and social solidarity.
The friendly man also advised the children who received aid to make the best use of this assistance. "Balance all this by improving your learning achievements, and be smart about being grateful and don't forget to always pray to Allah SWT so that what you dream of can come true," he said again.
In addition to the handover of aid, on this occasion an inauguration was also carried out showroom products fostered by the Malang City Social Service. "Hopefully the existence of showroom "This can be used as a place to store household industry products, ranging from various processed food products to craft items resulting from the creativity of residents under the Social Service," hoped Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Social Service, Sri Wahyuningtyas, who accompanied the Mayor of Malang, said that the distribution of aid and birth certificates would be carried out in stages, so that the children in the orphanage could obtain their rights as children in general.
