Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton and the Malang City Government staff again held a village visit agenda which was continued with a meeting with residents and a social exchange in Lesanpuro Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Sunday (7/5).
The Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton by Malang residents, toured the Lesanpuro Subdistrict area to find out the real conditions of the area and the condition of its residents.
Abah Anton said that Malang City is currently continuing to develop and become more advanced. Equal distribution of development is very important to do, with blusukan like this according to him it is very important to do so that we can directly find out what the difficulties are for the residents and find solutions.
"I want the eastern region of Malang City, such as Lesanpuro, to be able to progress like the central and western regions of Malang City. For that, we continue to prioritize its development," said Abah Anton, Sunday (7/5).
There are still many empty lands in the East Malang area, making the Kedungkandang area have potential that can still be developed.
To accelerate development in the eastern region, infrastructure development is no less important. From his visit to Lesanpuro, Abah Anton said that there are still many roads that need to be repaired, such as in the RT 2 RW 5 Baran Tegaron area, Lesanpuro Village. "Tomorrow I will ask for materials for paving in RT 2/RW 5 Baran Tegaron, residents will be invited to work together to do it," explained Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, the Head of RT 2 RW 5 Baran Tegaron, Samsul Arifin, revealed that his party had submitted several requests for road repairs to the Malang City Government.
"I made the most of today's impromptu visit. Now I am relieved because the mayor is willing to help build the road," said Samsul happily. (cah/yon)
