Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Malang City held the Beautiful Malang Run 2017 again, Sunday (7/5) in the Jl. Ijen area of Malang City. Around three thousand participants from various regions took part event sports which is now an annual agenda of KONI Malang City.
Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, Commander of Kodim 0833 Lt. Col. (Arm.) Aprianko Suseno, Chairman of KONI Malang City Bambang DH Suyono and chairman of the committee Eddy Wahyono had the opportunity to directly send off the participants of Malang Beautiful Run 2017.
In his remarks, Deputy Mayor Sutiaji said, event This is an effort by KONI Malang City to motivate residents to enjoy sports. "KONI's efforts to popularize sports are very good," said Sutiaji.
Sports, in addition to being an activity to improve physical health, are also a means to hone the value of sportsmanship which is now slowly being eroded. "Lately, the value of sportsmanship in society has begun to be degraded by various interests, therefore sports have become a means to hone that value again, where losing and winning are commonplace," he said.
Sutiaji hopes that in the next Malang Beautiful Run event, KONI Malang City can increase participation with the aim of... event This has become an event that is widely known by the public.
The Head of the Committee of Malang Beautiful Run 2017, Eddy Wahyono, said that this event was held, among other things, to commemorate the 103rd Anniversary of Malang City. The number of participants of MBR 2017 reached 3.153 runners from various regions.
There are several categories in this Malang Beautiful Run, each class is 10k national men, 10k national women, 5k national men, 5k male students, 5k female students, and 5k TNI-Polri.
