Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to increase the acceleration of the development of science and technology (iptek) through the exploration of technological innovation and iptek resources, the Malang City Planning, Research and Development Agency (Barenlitbang) is again holding Malang City Technology Innovation Competition (Inotek) 2017.

The Inotek Competition, registration for which was open from 11 March to 18 April 2017, yesterday, Monday (8/5) entered the judging stage which was packaged in Focus Group Discussions (FGD) which took place in the Malang City Research and Development Agency Meeting Room.
There are four competition fields in the 2017 Inotek Competition, namely Agribusiness, Energy, Environment, and Information and Communication Technology Innovation.
Dra. Rukayah M.Si, Head of Research and Development Division of the Malang City Planning, Research and Development Agency explained that the Inotek Competition is free of charge. For all categories of innovation fields that are registered, an initial judging stage will be carried out which will later be determined by the jury as the selected proposal to be presented at the FGD forum.
This FGD focuses on the Agribusiness sector. The nine nominees who were selected and presented to the jury are:
- Smart Grain Container Design and Construction of Rice and Grain Commodity Storage Based on Radio Frequency Heating Technology,
- 'Inuvine' Application of Ultraviolet-Based Non-Thermal Pasteurization System and Continuous Culture Fermentation for Making Fermented Beverages,
- Elcow Innovation Automatic and Portable Cattle Weight Measuring Tool Using Carbon Conductivity Principle for Community Farming,
- Gultor (Predatory Weed),
- Bio-Tela (Planting Technology Plants) Futuristic Agribusiness Expansion in Portable Planting Media to Meet the Need for Agricultural Seeds to Realize Urban Farming in Urban Areas,
- Utilization of Aleurone Rice to Increase Community Purchasing Power to Achieve Food Self-Sufficiency,
- Author Automatic Propolis Heat Extractor Resistive Heating Based Propolis Extraction Machine as an Effort to Increase Productivity in Processing Local Beekeeping Products,
- PresToMatik Automatic Tofu Press and Printing Machine on Home Industry Scale,
- B-Promagen Development of Biopesticides Using Active Ingredients Bacillus subtillis and Pseudomonas Flourescene by Utilizing Pest Proteins as Biological Agents.
