Zaini, MM, MBA was held as part of the selection for the national level championship.

"Attended by students from PAUD/TK level as many as 150 participants, elementary school 300 participants, junior high school 400 participants, and 500 participants from high school/vocational school, the PAI Performance was also held to welcome Ramadan," said Zaini.
The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, who was also present accompanied by the Head of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, the Head of the Malang City Education Office and the Principal of SMA Negeri 8 Malang Dr. Moh. Shulton, M.Pd, took the time to greet and review the competition participants.
On this occasion, he reminded us that the global era will bring consequences for the entry and influence of foreign cultures on students (the younger generation).
"Don't let our children become more alienated from their own culture and further away from Islamic values (moral values of religion). Therefore, they must be equipped with adequate arts and culture education continuously and continuously, such as the pattern of PAI art performances," explained Abah Anton, the nickname of the Mayor of Malang.
The same thing was expressed by the Head of the Malang City Education Office, Dra. Zubaidah, MM. She said that her party welcomed the activity initiated by the Ministry of Religion. Moreover, the participants targeted public schools which were non-madrasahs.
"So this strengthens the pattern of religious learning and encourages students' understanding ability, not just academic ability but also practicing it," said Zubaidah.
Held at SMA Negeri 8 Malang, the PAI Arts Festival competed in 18 types of competitions, including calligraphy, tilawah, speech, fashion design, lectures/speeches, quiz, poetry, debate and various other Islamic-themed arts. (say/yon)
