Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Many hopes were conveyed by the Commander of V/Brawijaya Military Region, Major General TNI Kustanto Widiatmoko, MDA in the Ramadan Safari at Makorem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Wednesday (31/5). One of them is about the awareness of this nation to be able to respect each other, because since its founding, this nation has been full of diversity.
In his speech, Maj. Gen. TNI Kustanto expressed his happiness to be able to come to Malang City to visit. "I used to be on duty in Malang, so it is very encouraging to be able to visit Malang City now," said Maj. Gen. Kustanto, Wednesday (31/5).
The many differences in Indonesia, he added, should not cause this nation to become divided. Instead, these differences should be used as capital to be able to build this nation in a better direction as aspired by the founders of this nation.
Meanwhile, the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Arm Budi Eko Mulyono, S.Sos, MM said that the Holy Month of Ramadan is a moment that should not be missed and must be utilized as well as possible, so that it brings goodness and improvements in the quality of life in a more meaningful direction.
"Our aim in holding this Ramadan Safari activity is to establish relationships and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between leaders and members," he said.
With a strong bond of brotherhood, it is hoped that it can raise the morale of soldiers to encourage the realization of better unit performance so that they can achieve success in every implementation of the tasks they are assigned.
The Safari Ramadan and breaking fast activities at Makorem 083/Baladhika Jaya were also filled with religious lectures delivered by KH Zain Baik, Head of the Pandan Ajeng Tumpang Mental Rehabilitation Islamic Boarding School and the handover of assistance to 100 orphans from the Al-Qorni and Al-Jundi Foundations by the Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command.
