Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The provision of assistance to the extended family of H. Moch Anton continues. After providing assistance to 6.000 orphans throughout Malang City, yesterday, Monday (19/6), at Baiduri Sepah Hall & Resto, assistance was again provided to 6.000 underprivileged people throughout Malang City.

In addition to the extended family of H. Moch. Anton and Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani, also present were the Malang City Police Chief, the Commander of the 0833 Malang City Military District Command, the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, and the Chairman of the Malang City PCNU.
In his speech, H. Moch Anton, who is usually called Abah Anton, said that this annual routine charity activity is expected to be able to help the underprivileged people in Malang City.
"If managed well, it is hoped that the zakat and alms funds given can also help the government's program in eradicating poverty. This is what we also want to realize, in addition to providing an example for other philanthropists," said Abah Anton.
Abah Anton hopes that this activity will also be a motivation for the Muslim community in Malang City to continue to strive to improve their worship through the distribution of zakat.
"Currently, it is still for people aged 55 years and above, there are still many people aged 55 years and below who also need assistance," he added.
The number of people who received assistance this year, both orphans and the poor, was 12.000 people. This number is less than in 2016, which was 15.000 people.
"We should be grateful for this because it shows that the people of Malang City are increasingly prosperous, so I hope that in the coming year the number will also decrease," said Abah Anton. (say/yon)
