Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Starting work activities on the first day of work after enjoying the Eid al-Fitr 1438 Hijri holiday, Malang City Government employees along with the Mayor of Malang, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), interfaith figures, and community leaders held a halalbihalal in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (3/7).
In his speech, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, expressed his gratitude for still being given the blessing of health so that he could visit relatives after ten days of enjoying the 2017 Eid holiday.
"Being able to go home safely, being able to return to Malang City safely, and participating in halalbihalal is an extraordinary gift that we must be grateful for," said Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called.
"After visiting family in my hometown and returning to Malang City to carry out my routine, I hope I can bring enthusiasm to work better to serve the community," hoped Abah Anton, Monday (3/7).
He added, whether intentionally or unintentionally, as humans there must be mistakes. For that, on this good and noble occasion representing the Malang City Government, Abah Anton conveyed his apologies both physically and mentally.
"Being able to get the pleasure of halalbihalal like this is a very good moment, including to do self-introspection. Hopefully in the future the ranks of the Malang City Government can work and step forward better in serving the community," he added again.
On the first day after the Eid holiday, all levels of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Malang City Government immediately carried out their public service routines, starting with halalbihalal to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and Islamic brotherhood.
After carrying out halalbihalal at Malang City Hall, Abah Anton along with the Malang City Forkopimda conducted a friendly visit to the clerics in Malang City, including KH. Baidlowi Muslich (Chairman of the MUI), KH. Ahmad Arif Yahya (PP Miftahul Huda, Gading Pesantren), KH Luqman Al-Karim (PP Bahrul Maghfiroh), and H. Ahmad Toha Mahfudz (PP Hidayatul Mubtadiin).
