Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch Anton hopes that achievements in the environmental sector will continue to be improved. Because, a clean and healthy environment will have a very positive impact in order to provide comfort and beauty to the residents of Malang City and tourists who come to visit.
"We must continue to encourage and improve our achievements in the field of environmental cleanliness because now Malang City, which is known for being clean and comfortable, is becoming an example for other cities," said the Mayor of Malang when giving a speech in front of hundreds of cleaning officers at the halalbihalal event of the Malang City Environmental Service (DLH) at the Ken Arok Sports Hall, Thursday (6/7).
The mayor, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, also emphasized the important role of cleaning staff who are always responsive to their duties in maintaining the cleanliness of the city so far.
Abah Anton continued that environmental achievements, both the Adipura and Adiwiyata trophies, would not have been possible if the cleaning staff had not carried out their duties well.
"The achievement is the result of real work from all groups, especially the cleaners. Currently, cities and districts in Indonesia are competing to make their cities clean and comfortable. Malang City must of course continue to maintain and improve the achievements that have been achieved," said Abah Anton.
The friendly man also invited hundreds of cleaners throughout Malang City to continue to provide the best service to the community. "In addition, communication between the Environmental Service and the cleaners must be intensive, considering that it is important so that our shared goals, visions and missions to make Malang City clean can be realized," he said.
Not to forget, on this halalbihalal occasion, Abah Anton wished a happy Eid al-Fitr and also apologized to the community and especially the cleaning staff if during the course of carrying out their duties in running the city government there was anything that was not pleasing. "On behalf of the Malang City Government and on my own behalf, I would like to say Forgive me body and soul"I apologize deeply," said Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, Head of Malang City DLH Drs. Agoes Edy Poetranto, MM said that this halalbihalal event was held with the aim of strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and building togetherness in order to realize a clean Malang City.
"We are very grateful because the extended family of the Environmental Service can meet and have a halalbihalal with the mayor and his staff," he explained.
In addition to the Mayor of Malang H. Moch Anton, the halalbihalal event of the Environmental Service at the Ken Arok GOR was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, the Regional Secretary of Malang City Dr. Idrus Achmad, M.Si, and several Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations within the Malang City Government. (say/yon)
