Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The spirit to continue to innovate in development and provide public services to the community to a perfect level is still loudly promoted by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch Anton.
In the halalbihalal event at the Lowokwaru District Office, Friday (7/9) together with the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), village heads and Linmas members, the Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, again emphasized that the spirit of improving public services is important because it is directly related to the community.
"Public services must be improved. Innovation in development must also be considered, so that the success of development so far can be maintained well and can run sustainably," said Abah Anton.
It was also said that the achievements of Malang City in various fields cannot be separated from cooperation between sectors in carrying out their duties well. The measure of good government performance and positive impact on society, continued Abah Anton, can be assessed from several aspects such as economic figures that continue to climb to 5,6 percent, accompanied by a fairly low inflation rate of around 2 percent, to the Human Development Index (HDI) which exceeds the national figure.
This is real evidence that development in Malang City is on the right track. "So our job is to maintain and continue to improve it. Because a number of achievements are none other than the result of our hard work, the real results of what we have done so far," he explained.
In front of ASN in the Blimbing District, village heads, community leaders and TNI/Polri ranks, Abah Anton hopes that the synergy, solidarity and cooperation that have been well established must always be maintained to realize the ideals of development in Malang City.
"Malang is a city that is known to be conducive and livable. Not only that, Malang is now also a model city for other cities in Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Lowokwaru District, Imam Badar, said that the halalbihalal event was part of strengthening ties with the aim of strengthening a sense of togetherness among ASN, executive leaders, and local community leaders.
"We use the Eid al-Fitr moment as a means to strengthen our friendship. We also hope that the performance of ASN in Lowokwaru District will be even better in the future," hoped Imam Badar. (say/yon)
