Malang City Government – ​​Malang City Election Commission Agrees on 2018 Regional Election NPHD

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The signing of the Regional Grant Agreement (NPHD) between the Malang City Government and the Malang City KPUD (Regional General Election Commission) was held in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Friday (7/7).

Present at the event were the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, Chairman of the Malang City KPUD Zainuddin, ST, M.AP and members, the Malang City Forkopimda, and several existing political parties.

From the approved NPHD, it can be seen that the grant budget to the Malang City KPUD for the 2018 Regional Election is Rp. 30.219.700.600,-.

In his speech, the Mayor of Malang who is often called Abah Anton said that this activity is a form of commitment from the Malang City Government to help make the simultaneous Pilkada in 2018 a success. "In addition, I also hope that the availability of funds is maximized in accordance with the rules and needs that can be jointly accounted for," he said.

The accountability, continued Abah Anton, is not only to the government, but also to the community. With the funds we show solidarity among the ten parties in Malang City.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City KPUD, Zainuddin, said that the Pilkada will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. "We hope that the implementation of the Pilkada can run smoothly, especially at points that are considered crucial with the hope that the police will also help secure the Pilkada," he explained.

"The Pilkada fund has indeed increased compared to the 2013 Pilkada which was only around Rp 18 billion. In addition to the inflation factor, later the campaign costs of the Pilkada candidates will be borne by the KPUD," concluded Zainuddin. (say/yon)
