Participants of the East Java Level IV Scouting Competition Dispatched

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The departure ceremony of the participants of the East Java Level IV Scouting Competition was attended by leaders, trainers, instructors and mentors of the Malang City Scout Movement Scout Group held in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Friday (7/7). Acting as the ceremony inspector was the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd.

In the speech of the Mayor of Malang read by the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd, it was conveyed that this scouting activity is an effort to increase commitment. In addition, it also invites all components of the nation's young generation to jointly carry out their obligations and responsibilities in realizing, as well as preparing a young generation that is strong, independent, and useful for families, communities, and the nation and state.

Abdul Malik gave direction, motivation, and also released the participants of the 2017 East Java Level IV Scouting Competition in Malang City. "The young generation is the successor of the nation who has a strategic role and position in the community. It is on the shoulders of the young generation that this nation was born and was able to rise to become a great nation as it is today," said Abdul Malik.

From scouting activities like this, he continued, the young generation can also increase knowledge, form good character and personality, instill discipline, independence and responsibility. "I hope that in this competition event it will be followed by a friendly competition atmosphere, maintain sportsmanship, and make this event a means to add friends, experience and insight," said Malik.
