Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Coordination Meeting for Preparation of Field Clarification for the 2017 Regional Level Village Competition was held at the Sawojajar Village Office, Friday (14/7).
After previously Sawojajar Village won First Place in the 2017 East Java Provincial Village and Sub-district Competition, this time Sawojajar Village under the leadership of Sawojajar Village Head JA Bayu Widjaya was again nominated to represent East Java in the Regional Village Competition.
In the coordination meeting led directly by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch Anton, Bayu Widjaya explained the various preparations that had been made by his sub-district.
Accompanied by the Assistant for Government and Social Affairs of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd, the Head of Kedungkandang District, Drs. Pent Haryoto, MM, and the Head of Government Affairs Sri Winarni, SH, the Mayor of Malang who is often called Abah Anton conveyed many messages to all OPDs and the community in Sawojajar Village. One of the messages is to not waste the opportunity to make achievements.
"This is a golden opportunity for Sawojajar to make an achievement in Malang City. Therefore, all preparations must be as optimal as possible and all parties must support it," he said.
He added that currently Malang City has the opportunity to host the implementation of APEKSI 2017 National Working Meeting. This is partly because every village competition Malang City always becomes the winner. For four consecutive years, so that other cities want to see it and conduct a study.
To win this competition, Abah Anton also advised that the commitment of the leader be one of the important factors that must also be supported by the community. "It takes synergy together to be able to win it," he explained.
"In addition, support from OPD is also needed to realize this, so joint coordination is important. Don't let this good opportunity slip away," he added.
Sawojajar Village is one of five other nominees, namely Kubu Village, Bangli Regency, Bali Province, Kandri Village, Semarang City, Central Java Province, Katulampa Village, Bogor City, West Java Province, and Wirogunan Village, Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. (say/yon)
