Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Singha Merjosari Park as one of the thematic parks in Malang City will become greener and more beautiful along with the planting of typical regional trees carried out by 98 regional heads who are members of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (APEKSI) yesterday, Thursday (20/7).

Just like the Mayor of South Tangerang Airin Rachmi Diany who planted a parakan rambutan tree, the Deputy Mayor of Batu Punjul Santoso planted a persimmon tree, and the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton who chose to plant a breadfruit tree.
The Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, said that he deliberately invited the mayors to come to Singha Merjosari Park to jointly ignite the spirit of greening which is a real action to create a green, healthy and fresh environment.
"We hope that the presence of various typical trees from regions throughout Indonesia planted by the mayors can further complete the park collection, so that in the future this (Singha) park will not only be greener and shady, but can also become a complete educational park," hoped Abah Anton, Thursday (20/7).
On this occasion, Abah Anton also invited all participants present to review and use various facilities and infrastructure in Taman Singha Merjosari, such as air bikes, fitness equipment, jogging areas, and gazebo facilities to enjoy the coolness of Malang City. The mayors seemed to enjoy the moment.
Bogor Mayor, Bima Arya Sugiarto expressed his joy in being able to visit and see Singha Merjosari Park directly. "I like this park. Good maintenance keeps the infrastructure in the park functional. This is a good example," said Bima. (cah/yon)
