Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Head of the Malang City Planning, Research and Development Agency (Barenlitbang) Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, directly presented the 2017 Malang City Technology Innovation Competition (Inotek) awards to the winners. The award ceremony for the 2017 Inotek Competition was held in the Expert Staff Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall, Monday (24/7).

The 2017 Inotek Competition, which competed for a total prize of Rp 60 million, has been implemented from the collection of proposals to the announcement of the winner, namely on March 11 - June 10, 2017. The four fields competed were Energy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Agribusiness, and the Environment.
The participants of the competition were from lecturers, the general public, students, communities, and even from high schools and junior high schools in Malang City. From the four fields competed, 12 winning categories were obtained.
In the Energy category, first place was won by Putradhana Setihadi and his team who raised 'Wind Utilization Strategy by Vertical Axis Windmill with Naca 3412 to Produce Electricity as Alternative Energy in the Future', second place was won by Ahmad Fariduddin Aththar and Muhammad Yafie Zenas Asy'ari with the innovation title 'BRIO' (Biodiesel from Zophobas Morio) Superior Biodiesel Based on Zophobas Morio Larvae as an Alternative New Renewable Energy.
Third place was won by Muhammad Dwi Hidayatullah and his team with the innovation title BIVERGY (Bio Vulnerability Renewable Energy) Reduction of Cow Manure Waste in Improving Environmental Conditions and Environmental Safety and Health and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) of Livestock Farmers to Realize SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals) in Malang City.
Meanwhile, in the Information and Communication Technology category, innovation monitoringlpg.com: Monitoring System and Transaction System in Closed Distribution of 3kg LPG by Annisa Kesy Garside, ST, MT and team came out as first place, second place with the title of innovation 'Digital Image Processing Sort Maturity (DIPSMart): Image Processing as a Sorter of Ripeness of Malang's Special Apples by Davit Adi Cahyono, and third place with an innovation entitled Natural Disaster Companion (NARNION) by Novia Ulfa Nuraini and team.
In the Environmental category, the first winner was an innovation entitled Biodegradable Plastic from Rumen Waste (B-PLASTRUE) by Diezka Ahmad Al Hafidh and team, the second winner was the Hydro Exhaust innovation by Heru Purnomo, ST, and the third winner was the P3TA (Portable 3 Aquaponic Techniques) Mini Urban Farming Innovation by Wiedia Carullina Purwanti, S.Pd and team.
Meanwhile, in the Agribusiness category, the first winner was the innovation 'INUVINE', an Ultraviolet-Based Non-Thermal Pasteurization System Application and Continuous Culture Fermentation for Making Fermented Drinks by Widya Nur Habiba and team, the second winner was AUTHOR 'Automatic Propolist Heat Extractor'.
Resistive Heating-Based Propolis Extraction Machine as an Effort to Increase Productivity of Local Lebal Livestock Product Processing by Annisa Aurora Kartika and team, and third place with the innovation 'ELCOW' Innovation of Automatic and Portable Cattle Weight Measuring Tool Using the Principle of Carbon Conductivity for Community Livestock.
Head of Barenlitbang Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH expressed his pride and satisfaction to the winners of the 2017 Inotek competition in Malang City who had attended the event. "The innovators who are selected as winners will be included in the Inotek competition at the provincial level and even at the national level," he said. (say/yon)
