Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Thousands of cadres of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) and KAHMI (Alumni Corps of the Islamic Student Association) from various regions and even from abroad crowded the Tugu Square in Malang City, Sunday morning (30/7). The gathering event packaged in the form of a healthy walk was also an event for reunion and nostalgia.

Present at this event were several KAHMI figures such as Mahfud MD, Nurhayati Assegaf, Akbar Tanjung and Rendra Kresna. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can strengthen the brotherhood of HMI and KAHMI cadres. Because as is known, KAHMI cadres are spread across various sectors such as community organizations, youth organizations, non-governmental organizations, the political world, and so on.
Some of these things were conveyed by the Chairman of the KAHMI Presidium Council, Mahfud MD on the sidelines of the event. In the healthy walk event entitled 'Don't Get Tired of Caring for Indonesia', Mahfud emphasized that KAHMI and HMI still have one vision to maintain the integrity of the NKRI (Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia).
"HMI and KAHMI were formed for the Republic of Indonesia, so that if there are cadres who do not understand the state ideology, namely Pancasila, then through events like this or special forums, this will be straightened out," said the former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.
Responding to the current situation of the nation, the man born in Sampang, Madura instructed KAHMI and HMI cadres to remain solid and not be easily provoked by various information that is not necessarily true.
Mahfud invited all cadres to work together to ward off various threats and disturbances, especially those that can divide national unity. (say/yon)
